Sharing a room with a sibling...

I want the girls to start sharing a room soon since we have a little boy on the way (yay!). One is 2 1/2 (sleeps in toddler bed) and the other is 14 months (still in crib). Kinsey (2) talks/plays/sings before she goes to bed and Keegan (1) goes to sleep right away. I am concerned if I put them together...they will end up playing instead of sleeping and when one wakes up in night or morning they will wake each other up. I don't let Kinsey out of her room until I get her so she doesn't get up at night...she will just play and go back to sleep. So actually here is the question: If you had kids that shared a room...when did you do it (how old were they)? How did you handle them waking each other up? Any suggestions/advice?? Thanks!!

And the verdict is.....

A BOY!
We are so excited...and yet shocked at the same time. The lady doing the ultra-sound started out doing her normal routine of an ultra-sound while Shea and I talked about our predictions which we both said another girl (just to be safe). She got curious and went straight to find out and announced...it's a boy. My response was "IT IS?!?". I was a little overwhelmed with the news...I really didn't believe it. I am excited and worried about raising a boy...I know I will learn real quick. =) I can say this now because it is a boy, but I had a feeling that it was a boy, but I was not 100% sure because we have two precious girls. I don't know what we are going to do with a boy... our house/toys is going to need a boy makeover. Shea is already planning all the Duke decor and I am trying to "hold" him back. hehe To answer the next question...we don't have a definite name yet, but we are working on it. Names are so hard...especially for two people to agree on. So...here begins our journey of baby fergy boy. I am sure there will be lots of news to blog about. =) (In honor of boys...this blog was written in blue...Duke blue...)

My friend, Joy, who is an amazing photographer is running a special on her photography. She is back in the Atlanta area after living in Tennessee for a while and is offering an incredible deal for an unlimited session and the full CD of photos for only $150. That is unbelievable! Whether you are pregnant, getting married, have a new baby, or just need family photos, Joy is the woman to call! She is great at capturing the moment, the smiles, and the memories! Even if you are a little drive from Atlanta, she will be worth the trip! Check Joy and her photography out here! Here is a little bit of her work of us and my girls. I can't wait til I we have this baby...and get her to take more pictures!!!

Keegan's 1st Birthday Party!

Here are the pictures from Keegan's 1st birthday (she turned 1 on Jan. 3rd). It's funny how the second child doesn't have many pictures...for Kinsey's we had "Aunt Sarah" as a personal photographer and got a million pictures. Keegan had so much fun...she killed the cake! The presents were awesome. Being with family was great! Thanks for a wonderful birthday party.

Update on life the last few months...

I don't even know where to begin...but I have been putting off bloggin' because our cameras were left at the grandparents. Finally got them back...so here goes the "spewing"-um..I mean updating.
December...Keegan got her 1st tooth...here is me trying to get a picture and Keegan letting me know she is not happy about it!

Taking "family" photos...easier said than done...obviously these were not used for any Christmas card...but they will make you laugh...

Papa and Mimi came over for Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning...we made cookies and had fun hanging out! **I don't know why we don't have any pictures of Mimi....I guess she will be okay with that.. ;)**

*more to come later!
