Merry Christmas!

I thought I would share a "great" moment with you all...

We randomly made a trip to Chick-fil-a one night and they were taking SantaCow pictures. I thought...well it's free so why not. Kinsey freaked out before we even got in the place and wouldn't even come near the cow (she stayed across the restaurant while I took Keegan). Keegan had no idea what was about to happen until I put her in the cow's lap and she freaked. I think it was more because I left her than she was scared of the cow. The funny part was Kinsey would not eat or even play in the playplace the whole time we were there. She was afraid of the cow/santa! I now have a great picture to share for Christmases to come! Hope you enjoyed it!

It has arrived...after 11 months...

Keegan's 1st tooth! I could officially see it on the day she turned 11 months. I haven't heard of a baby taking so long to get teeth. These teeth better be strong! If it took that long for 1 to come in, I am afraid for the other ones. Hopefully they will all come in quickly now that one has "forged" the way! I tried to get a picture, but she was not cooperative...and she ended up pulling the camera on her head which added yet another big bruise on her head...right next to the one she got right before Thanksgiving when she lost the battle with the chair leg. Hopefully these will heal up soon. Here's to more teeth and a lot quicker time. Anyone else's children take a long time for teeth to come in?

The 5th Ferguson...

So much has been going on this past month, but the biggest news is A 5th member of our family will be joining us some time in June. The official due date is July 3rd, but I have never made it to the due date. Also since I seem to grow big babies..."baby fergy" will more than likely be arriving in June by induction. We are excited! Even though this is not our plan, God knew this "Baby" would be a part of our family. As I write this, I am 9 weeks 5 days along. I have been very nauseous and haven't been "sick" except for Thanksgiving when I had the stomach "bug"....not very fun when you are already sick to start with. We will keep you updated on the all the progress on this little one. Here is the first official photo:

I know it doesn't look like anything to those of you who have never had an ultrasound...but I promise it's not a blob, but a baby! =)

Better late than never....Halloween!

This year for Halloween we went to "the church across the street" (who is letting us live in their parsonage for FREE...Praise the Lord!) for Trunks of Treats. This was my first time at something like this and it was fun- mainly because Kinsey had a great time and I loved seeing her face when she got CANDY! Here are some pics from that...

One funny thing...they had "fish races"...if you have never heard of this (like me)...they have two gutters and they place a goldfish in one end and you blow in a straw to make the goldfish swim to the other end. The fish that gets there first wins..well the people win..candy. It was hilarious...only in Gillsville.

*********************************************************************************
Then on to Halloween night...we went over to Mark and Heather's to go out in their 'hood while the boys stayed behind to hand out candy, cobbler, coffee and cider (nice I know).
Kinsey was adorable in her "girl monkey" outfit except she wouldn't keep the hat on ...so most people were not sure what she was...thanks anyway Austin and Neely! Keegan was a "cowgirl"...it was nice to be able to reuse this from last year. We "treated" with a UGA football player and his cheerleader. =)
We had a great time until about the 5th house when a Monster "statue/dummy" fell over and his head went rolling down a driveway we were at....Kinsey screamed so loud that I think the whole city heard her. From then on each house was..."not going to scare me?" All in all they had a great time. Kinsey of course would dig into the bowls of candy each time...wonder where she got it?

Keegan's New "Tricks"

Keegan is almost 10 months old (on Nov. 3rd) and she has learned a few things this past month. I have taken some video of them and put them in one video with added text and stuff. (I am pretty impressed myself- except towards the end is messed up and I couldn't fix it...oh well!) So anyway- I hope you enjoy it! She is still "working" on the end part a lot and I know she will have "down" in no time. =)

I am sorry...Omaha lied!

Sorry to all of you who took me up on my deal with Omaha and Gieco. I should be receiving the steak burgers today (we will see if they show up) but without the "free" stuff included. Here is the link (Thrifty Florida Mama) again to where I found the deal and the lady explaining it...so if you want to leave a message on her site..she will forward it to Omaha- so much for me and my research. Sorry

**Update...I did get the 12 steak burgers for $3.98...just none of the "free" stuff. Oh well!**

Looking for a sweet deal...act now!

Okay- so I have been researching coupons and deals all over the blog world because I am trying to save us money (that we don't have). Anyway- I stumbled over this deal. It worked. I got 18 (4 oz.) Omaha Steaks Burgers, Cutlery, & Cutting Board all for (wait for it) $3.98!! It took me a few times going through it to figure it out, but it actually worked. Check out this link and she will tell you the rest. I had to find my e-mail in the spam section and then click on the link 3 times and log in to get the code but it worked. I didn't have to do anything else. Try this...act soon, because I don't know how long this will last! I hope it helps someone else!

Redneck fair...this beats the N. GA one!

Yes...my weekend was redneck (except for trying on bridesmaid dresses for Austin, my brother, and Neely's wedding!). On Friday night, we went to the Maysville, GA fair...you may ask "where is Maysville"...well it's..small and between Gainesville and Commerce.
This was crazy....it goes on for 3 days...even though it was so small we walked through the whole thing in 5 mins. I was excited that I could take some pics and share in the fun..uhh memories. I also made an observation that ghetto is the "new country" for some kids around there...it was kind of funny! So here it goes:

Kinsey wanted to go in the "jumpy", but then got scared as we were waiting...

So instead we went on a "train" ride...she loved it!

After the "ride"...Keegan liked it too~

.....and this next pic is no explaination needed..I hope.

I know you are all jealous and want one of these...sorry- I won them all! Just Kidding! Check out the "local"...priceless!

The next pic is a church that was giving away a deer stand...ha! Shows the community they are in...notice the "ductape box" to put your card!

I thought this was neat...and we bought this small amount of ice cream for $3 (with the change we had) for all four of us...yes- Keegan even knows what ice cream is!

a Funnel cake was $5...rip off or have I just not been to a fair in a while?
This is the "main attraction" place...cute town

And at last....this guy was part of the boy scout dunking booth...wouldn't you want to see him leading your kid at boy scouts? ha!

Redneck wedding part 2...my kids...

So the girls had a blast...staying up late, tasting coke for the first time, Kinsey having 2 pieces of cake, seeing a bon-fire, Kinsey dancing the night away and getting her own personal photo shoot...I hope I get to see the pictures because the photographer took a ton of her!
Here are the highlights:
Coke drunk already...Starting her off early..(there was only a "small sip" left) she tried so hard to get more out of it!

yum...coke...
Aunt Autumn and Kinsey
I am sending this to coke for their next commercial... =)

She was very happy...(caffeine)
seeing the fire..
Keegan was amazed...look at her mouth!
She likes it!
Kinsey in the midst of dancing...it was so funny- she was trying to line dance and everything!

RedNeck Wedding!

I am not making fun of it...that's what they called it. I went to my "cousin's" (not real good with the 'once removed' stuff) wedding on Saturday. It was nice since they called it a redneck wedding. Here are some pics...

We totally sat on hay bales...

My Dad taking pictures and yes..he "dressed up" for the occasion..he is not redneck-just likes to pretend. She came in a carriage...so pretty
This was nice..
Kinsey wanted to ride after the wedding and that is just what we did...

Now...this is funny!

Packing for the weekend...

So I am in the middle of packing for the weekend because we are going to here in NC and here in SC. I am so excited. Kinsey is not coming with us...she is going to stay with her preschool teacher from last year...which should be a treat for them both! As I was packing Kinsey's suitcase....Keegan didn't want to leave her big sister, so she thought she would just pack herself..so cute!

My "safety net" is gone...

When we moved back to Georgia, we sold our house because we knew we could not afford the payment, we could pay off some debt and also we could put some money in savings...hence the "safety net". Well that is all it was..."safety". Keeping me from worry, keeping me from really budgeting, and keeping me from trusting God. We have had many blessings in our new journey to help with Reveal Church. We are living in a home for free (just paying utilities, water, etc.)and this is huge! Shea got a job that is not too far from where we are living to help with some of our "bills" because we are not being supported from the church yet. But all that to say we have been living off Shea's earnings and our savings for about 5 months now. I thought we were doing okay, but some things have come up: we got in a wreck, gas prices, and some bigger utility bills. A few weeks ago I realized that the net is GONE! We had been dipping into the "net" because our bills (this is just normal stuff) are more than Shea is making. So this is where life gets interesting, where God wants us. Total dependence and trust in Him. Being called to do something for God is not always the easy route. It can sometimes be very trying. If it was easy, then I wouldn't learn or appreciate what God is doing. I would be tempted to keep doing what I am doing and do it with my own strength. Even though this is hard and scary...I am excited. This is where God has to step in and show his glory. My net is gone and now I am resting in the arms of Jesus...letting Him have control!

What about you...what has been your "net" lately?

Keegan was making her way into the world. I can't believe it has already been 8 months! Some things about her:

1. She crawls (army style..on arms and belly) all over the place and she is FAST! She can do it the normal way, but gets too tired holding up that big belly...=)
2. She can sit up from a crawling position...good skill!
3. She has started pulling up on everything 2 weeks ago and her face has all the bruises to prove it.
4. She can climb up stairs- found this out this weekend when I couldn't find her in my parents house...only to see her 3 stairs up- yes...I freaked!
5. She wants to walk so bad, but just doesn't have the balance or "strength" just yet.
6. She loves FOOD....if she had any teeth I would probably start trying to give her some "adult food"...because she grunts for mine all the time.
7. She doesn't have any teeth yet...I think she has been "teething" for 2 weeks now...where are those teeth?
8. She has the best laugh and you can make her laugh so easily!
9. She loves her big sister...I wish I could capture her face in the mornings when we go in to see her...it is so adorable.
10. She loves her Daddy and loves to play with him...her face lights up when he gets home!
11. She has the loudest scream ever! =) (in my opinion)
12. She "rocks" her whole body when she hears any kind of music or beat...I love it!
13. She is a Momma's girl all the way!
14. I love those big blue eyes...My sister always said I had the "precious moments" eyes...I think she inherited them.

I love ya Keegan...can't wait for a million more months together!

Kinsey-isms

So I have been collecting these for a while and thought I would share them on this rainy day....(some have come and gone but I still wanted to post them)

"mo"- more
"tay-do"- potato
"zoot"- zoo
"tee-too"- cock-a-doodle-doo
"Haustie"- Austin
"Ne-Ne"- Neely
"Ki-Ki" or "Keenan"- Keegan
"All Daddy"- Big Daddy
"All Bird"- Big Bird
"Awe day"- Birthday
"hold you"- pick me up
"dip"- is ketchup, syrup (anything you dip stuff in)
"Chock milk"- chocolate milk
"Keenan is reeso"- Keegan is zero
"I nuan you"- I love you
When you ask her how old is daddy she replies "turnie-nine" (29)
When you ask her what she wants for lunch... "toe jam" (I have no idea where she got that)
Whenever she does a #2...she always says- "Shew-wee Kinsey stinky poo-poo" everytime!

So I think that is enough for now. I will try to have updates I they "appear/happen". It's fun having a 2 year old!
Enjoy!

It's all my fault...kind of...

So Friday, I took the girls to the doctor because I thought they were sick (sometimes I just feel like a hypercondriac) but ended up they are both fine for the most part- Kinsey just has a normal "kid rash" whatever that means. So I picked up some lunch to head home because I did not feel like making lunch when we got home. I knew I had a lot to do and just wanted to put the girls down for a nap. I was about 5 miles from home and a mailman was stopped at a mailbox. I proceeded to go around him just like the other cars in front of me. Trying to make sure I didn't get hit by an oncoming car, I didn't notice that the cars in front of me were stopping. I looked back to see the truck in front of me squealing the tires and hitting the truck in front of him, I didn't even have a chance stop or anything. The next thing I know is my hood is coming towards my face. Luckily the air bag did not go off (my face is very thankful) and we are all okay. It was so crazy...it happened so fast! I am so thankful that we did not get hurt. The first thought that went through my mind was....God you had this happen for a reason...
So nap time was obviously not going to happen that day. The girls did great and did not get upset at all except for being hot and a little hungry. Praise the Lord the police men were all nice. Shea was at work during this and so we got to ride in the back of the police car home...and Shea pulled in as we did. I did get to talk to the officer about our new church and he said he will check us out when we get started. Who knows...it could have for him and his family.
Shea wrote about this too, and added pics...so check you can see them there. Pray for us as we get the news back about the car and if it is totaled or not. We will have lots of decisions to make. =)

"That's Ferfect"

Today has been a funny day with Kinsey. She amazes me at how much she knows and what she says. (On a side note: the doctor told me last week that she talks like a three year old....you didn't have to tell me that) Anyway...this morning when she was having her morning "movement" she states right after..."That's ferfect!". I asked did you just say "That's perfect"? She proudly says..."yes!" It made me laugh out loud...I wonder where she picked that up and why to say it about the "movement"? She said it later today as well when we cleaned up from lunch--I understand that one. Also she was playing with the air vent in her room and I told her not to touch it and she told me... "this is only for mommys and daddys". I agreed and thought....that's funny! So I hope you have a "ferfect" day!

Happy Birthday Big Daddy!

Saturday was (my dad) Big Daddy's Birthday! So Kinsey and I made cookies for him. This was the first time Kinsey really helped in the process. These were not regular cookies.....they were "healthy" cookies...made with some healthy stuff. But here is our journey to "cookies" for Big Daddy...

We got all the ingredients together...

Helping to mix..
Wow...the mixer is cool!
I like watching....

First time to lick the beaters...

Yummy!

Ready to cook...
This is what Keegan did the whole time...our "cheerleader"
Ready to go...
Checking to see if done...

They smell great!

I hope you enjoy these Big Daddy! Kinsey and Keegan had a great time making these... We love you very much! Have a great Birthday! =)
